Yeehaw ‘Yoncé Tops The Charts
Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé’s 27-track country album has generated a ton of buzz, and is even Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day of 2024 so far.
This album not only features radio-favorite “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM”, but also collaborative tracks with Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton.
Beyoncé is not done yet. She’s released the “Pony Up” remix of “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM”, and dropped a new cryptic website (beencountry.com), further stating that this isn’t a “country album”, it’s a Beyoncé album.

WE DON’T TRUST YOU Debuts at No.1 on Billboard
Metro Boomin’ and Future dropped their collaborative album, “WE DON’T TRUST YOU”, and have found themselves at the top of the charts. All 17 tracks of the album are on the Billboard Hot 100, five of which are in the top 10.
“Like That”, is holding down that number one slot, and it might have something to do with the Kendrick Lamar feature / diss against Drake and J.Cole.
Let’s rewind.
The Big Three is generally agreed upon as being Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and J.Cole. In 2023, Drake and J. Cole dropped “First Person Shooter”, and in it claimed themselves as the Muhammad Ali and Michael Jackson of the Big Three.
K. Dot’s response? Let’s just say it’s something along the lines of “heck the big three, it’s just big me,” fueling the fire among Drake and Kendrick’s ongoing fued.

J. Cole Surprise Drops “Might Delete Later”
Adding fuel to the flames among the rapper fire, J. Cole surprise dropped his latest album “Might Delete Later”, just a week after rivals “WE DON’T TRUST YOU”.
In his track “Crocodile Tearz”, he responds to Kendrick’s diss with “Yes, sir, it’s me, not two, not three / The uno, G-O-A-T … They sound faded, they downgraded, they Pluto / I’m bigger than Mars … I’m Bruno”
J. Cole has since apologized for the diss track against Kendrick. He claims he’ll update the song or remove it from streaming platforms, really living up to the title “Might Delete Later”.
Tyler, The Creator Wants To See Faces, Not Phones
In preparation for his headliner spot at Coachella this month, Tyler, The Creator, had this message displayed on a California billboard near the festival grounds.
Tyler, The Creator, isn’t the first artist to call out the excessive use of cell phones at performances. In 2016, Childish Gambino had fans put their devices in locked bags to ban their use during his PHAROS concert.
Fans can be grateful that Tyler, The Creator took the polite route in displaying a billboard and not making fans lock away their phones. Something does tell me he’ll still be seeing more phone lights than faces.
